The District

The 76th Assembly district Part B mostly encompasses the area of Manhattan between 78th Street and 92nd Street, east of 3rd Avenue (highlighted in yellow below.) This area is more commonly referred to as Yorkville.

For much of its history, Yorkville has been a working class neighborhood, with residents of German, Irish and Hungarian descent. You can still see these influences in the neighborhood today.
